The benefits of using black soap are numerous. Some of those benefits include deep cleaning of the skin, works on almost all skin types from rough to dry to sensitive skin, helps clear skin bumps and spots, helps relieve acne, oily skin, and other skin problems, works great as a makeup remover, Works against premature facial lines and wrinkles, and can be lathered and used as a shampoo. Directions: Rub the bar between your hands or a washcloth to lather up the soap. Then, rub the soap on to your skin and hair. Do not rub the bar of soap directly onto your hair as your hair will get stuck to the bar. Black soap absorbs water very easily, so do not let it sit in standing water or the entire bar will dissolve. Black soap is softer than commercial soap, so the soap comes off more easily and less rubbing of the bar is need to release an ample amount of soap. The African Black Soap is a soft milled soap with a very high natural glycerin content. Meaning, it readily absorbs moisture from the air. Therefore, store your Black Soap in a very dry location or in a sealed plastic bag. If the soap absorbs too much moisture, the soap will become very soft.and will result in a thin white colored film covering the soap. The white film is not mold, it is a reaction from the absorption of water from the air. Keep the soap in a dry location to avoid the development of white film during storage.
